Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a pleasant one overall. The rooms were spacious and clean, though a bit outdated in terms of decor and could use some modern touches. The service stood out for its friendliness and helpfulness. The location, right by the beautiful and clean beach, was lovely. However, the dining options were somewhat limited and repetitive during my visit.
I stayed on the 3rd floor of the 40th complex with a view overlooking the beautiful sea and beach. The room had 2 double beds and could use some repairs, but overall it was a comfortable stay. The service was exceptional, from the hard-working room attendant to the attentive waiters and bar staff. The location was stunning with crystal-clear water and a well-kept beach, although there were some issues with roaches and limited food choices. The dining experience was decent for breakfast and lunch but lacked in the evening. The facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel is quite spacious and remote from the main attractions, and unfortunately, there was a noticeable musty smell in the room and clear signs of black mold during our stay. The service at Negrille buffet restaurant and Sunset Cove Beach was exceptional, with particular recognition to Xavier and Ricardo. The vast surroundings were immaculate thanks to the diligent cleaners and gardeners, although the absence of nearby amenities could be a drawback. The dining experience, while boasting good quality, suffered from extended wait times. The facilities were adequate, but there could be more activities by the pool.
